Chevalier Daniel Christopher Boyer (born November 2, 1971) is a surrealist painter.

Personal life[]

Boyer was born in Hancock, Michigan, the son of Hugh Eisenhart Boyer, a history professor at Michigan Technological University, and Gretchen Boyer (née Glazier), an English professor at Michigan Tech who retired to become a housewife. In 2012 he married the former Sílvia Maria Ramos Soares, a singer, model, musician and painter from Portugal.

Career[]

Boyer is known for his drawings and paintings in a variety of unusual and even bizarre media, which he displayed in group and one-man shows in the Copper Country, and, later, in countries around the world.

In 1997 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and History from Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts. He had been named an honorary alumnus of The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland in 1991.
