The Ojibway Mine is an underground copper mine consisting of two shafts and thirteen levels. Organized in 1907, the mine produced approx. 50,000 lbs. of refined copper before closing in 1913. In 1941 the mine was bought by Calumet and Hecla but no further work was done. Nice minerals, including copper crystals, silver, quartz with green inclusions, and amethyst can be found here.
